Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Consultant Gastroenterologist role based in Faridabad.

The Consultant

Gastroenterologist will evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders in outpatient and inpatient settings, including emergency consultations as needed. Daily responsibilities include performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, interpreting investigation results, and developing evidence-based management plans. The role involves coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, supervising junior medical staff, and maintaining accurate,



timely clinical documentation.

The consultant will also participate in clinical audits, contribute to protocol development, support continuous quality improvement, and engage in patient and family education regarding disease, treatment options, and preventive care.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Medicine and Gastroenterology, with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.

Proficiency in Endoscopy and Capsule Endoscopy, including performance, interpretation, and complication management.

Clinical expertise in Hepatology, including evaluation and management of acute and chronic liver diseases.

Recognized postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology (e.g., DM, DNB, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.

Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice as a specialist in the relevant jurisdiction.

Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and diverse patient populations.

Ability to work in a busy hospital setting, manage time efficiently, and make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
