Educational Qualification:

- Graduate degree in

Archaeology, Architecture

, or any other related discipline

Experience:

- Minimum

10 years of professional experience in construction supervision and/or Quality Control

- Proven experience in conservation, renovation, or restoration of heritage sites

, monuments, or other historically significant structures

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Provide technical expertise for conservation, renovation, and restoration works of heritage sites and related structures

- Review and ensure compliance of conservation drawings, methodologies, and technical specifications with approved standards, guidelines, and statutory requirements

- Supervise site activities to ensure authenticity, quality workmanship, and adherence to conservation principles

- Monitor quality control procedures for traditional materials, workmanship, and conservation techniques

- Review contractor’s method statements, conservation approaches, and material sourcing proposals





- Conduct inspections and testing of materials to ensure compatibility with existing heritage fabric

- Guide site teams on appropriate conservation practices and traditional construction techniques

- Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues while maintaining historical integrity

- Coordinate with contractors, conservation architects, archaeologists, and statutory authorities

- Verify measurements and assist in certification of quantities and payments

- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and photographic records of conservation works

- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and heritage protection regulations at site

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Solid understanding of heritage conservation principles and practices

- Experience with restoration of historic buildings, monuments, and traditional structures

- Familiarity with national and international conservation guidelines and standards

- Good documentation, coordination, and communication skills
