Key Responsibilities:

1. Compliance Testing & Monitoring

- Develop and execute the annual compliance testing plan.

- Conduct compliance reviews of various banking products, processes, and functions.

- Perform sample testing to evaluate adherence to RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, and other regulatory guidelines.

- Identify control weaknesses and non-compliance issues.

1. Risk Identification & Assessment

- Evaluate emerging regulatory risks and their impact on bank operations.

- Support business units in implementing corrective actions.

- Escalate high-risk issues to senior management and Compliance Head.

1. Regulatory & Policy Adherence

- Ensure policies, procedures, and processes comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.

- Track changes in laws/regulations and incorporate them into the testing framework.

1. Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare detailed compliance testing reports highlighting findings, root causes,



and recommendations.

- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure closure of audit/compliance issues.

- Present testing outcomes to senior management, Audit Committee, and regulators as required.

1. Collaboration & Advisory

- Work with Risk, Internal Audit, and Operations teams to strengthen the compliance culture.

- Provide guidance to business units on compliance controls.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Robust knowledge of banking regulations (RBI, SEBI, FEMA, AML, KYC, etc.)

- Understanding of risk management and internal control frameworks.

- Analytical and investigative skills for identifying compliance gaps.

- Strong report writing and presentation skills.

- Attention to detail, objectivity, and ability to work independently.
