About GrowthX
GrowthX is a private community for professionals who want to build a career that holds up in an AI-first world. Being here means being around people smarter than you, picking up real skills in AI, product, and marketing, and finding your way to the role that changes things for you. Over 5,000 vetted professionals from Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Apple, Lovable, SarvamAI, ElevenLabs, Meta AI, Jio, HUL, ITC and Coca-Cola are part of it.
We're backed by 212 angel investors. Our founders are ex-Razorpay and ex-CRED. We hire for empathy, first-principles thinking, and a chip on the shoulder, in roughly that order. About the role
We run 40-60 events a month today. Workshops, buildathons, AMAs, deep dives. We want to get to 200+, and that only happens if the day-to-day of running events is tight. That's this role. You'll be the person making sure events actually happen and happen well, working closely with the person who owns the events engine. It's hands-on, high volume, and you'll learn more about community and events in a year here than most people do in three. What you'll do
- Run events end to end. Scheduling, speaker coordination, briefs, reminders, running the session live, following up after. You'll be the reason an event feels smooth to everyone attending it. Managing the event pipeline, spotting the gaps weeks ahead, chasing the things that are stuck.
- Support our member hosts.
A lot of our events are run by members. You'll be their first point of contact, walk them through how it works, help them prep, and make sure they have what they need on the day.
- Get people to show up. Writing the event copy, pushing it out on the right channels, following up with people who registered. Small things done consistently move show-up rates a lot.
- Track what's happening. Registrations, attendance, feedback, ratings. You'll keep this clean and flag what's working and what isn't.
- Turn repeat problems into process. When the same thing goes wrong three times, you'll be the one who writes the checklist that stops it happening a fourth. What we're looking for
1-2 years of experience in community, events, programs, ops, or something adjacent. Internships count if the work was real.
You're organised in a way other people can see. Nothing goes missing with you.
You write clearly and quickly. Event copy, member messages, follow-ups.
You're comfortable talking to people, including senior folks and speakers you've never met.
You're calm when something breaks 20 minutes before an event starts, because it will.
You use AI tools already and reach for them without being told to.
You're fine with evenings and the occasional weekend, because that's when events happen.
