Rasa Home is looking for an on-ground field sales agent based in Coimbatore to take our handcrafted, charcoal-free dhoop sticks into premium retail stores across Tamil Nadu.

If you know how to walk into a boutique, gifting store, or premium retailer and get five minutes with the owner, we want to talk to you. What you'll do

Retail account development

Map and prioritize premium retail counters across the territory — home décor boutiques, gifting stores, wellness/spa retail, premium pooja/religious stores, lifestyle concept stores, hotel gift shops

Negotiate trial stocking orders with new accounts and convert them into standing repeat orders

Build and manage your own Tamil Nadu territory, from first pitch to repeat orders

Relationship & account management

Maintain a regular visit cadence with existing accounts to check stock, collect reorders, and catch problems before they become lost accounts

Set up and maintain point-of-sale display so the product reads as premium, not lost among mass-market agarbatti

Collect retailer and end-customer feedback on fragrance preference, pricing, and packaging, and relay it to the team

Market intelligence

Track what competitors (regional premium incense brands) are stocking at retail, at what price and margin

Flag recent towns or retail formats within Tamil Nadu worth expanding into

Reporting & operations





Report weekly on accounts visited, new accounts onboarded, and order values against target; maintain accurate records of sales interactions

Coordinate order handoff with the Rasa team for fulfillment

Own and hit a monthly target across new account acquisition and commission-generating sales volume Skills & Requirement

Field sales experience, ideally in FMCG, gifting, home décor, or wellness/beauty categories with direct retail/general trade exposure

Existing retail network in Coimbatore and, ideally, other Tamil Nadu towns or the aptitude to build one

Fluent in Tamil and English; Hindi is a bonus, not a requirement

Comfortable on commission-only or commission-heavy pay — self-motivated, doesn't need close supervision to keep the pipeline moving

Own two-wheeler/vehicle and willingness to travel extensively within Tamil Nadu

Consultative pitching ability to sell "premium, handcrafted, non-toxic" as a positioning, not just specs

Basic digital literacy: WhatsApp Business for order confirmations and counter photos, comfortable with a simple order-tracking sheet

Strong negotiation skills: margin, credit terms, and shelf-space conversations with retail owners

Reliability with cash/order handling and representing the brand unsupervised in the field
