About the Hotel A newly opening 4-star hotel in Dalhousie is looking for hardworking and enthusiastic Kitchen Helpers, Commis II, and Commis III to join our culinary team. Job Summary The Kitchen Helper / Commis II / Commis III will assist the Chef and senior kitchen staff in daily food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should be disciplined, eager to learn, and capable of working efficiently in a quick-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Chef and senior kitchen staff in preparing ingredients and dishes.
- Perform vegetable cutting, cleaning, peeling, chopping, and basic food preparation.
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
- Wash, clean, and organize kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Store food items properly following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies.
- Support the kitchen team during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquet operations.




- Ensure compliance with hotel hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or CDP.

Requirements
- High school qualification or relevant hospitality training preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or commercial kitchen.
- Freshers who are passionate about cooking and willing to learn are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.

Experience Preferred:

- Kitchen Helper: Fresher to 1 year
- Commis III: 0–2 years
- Commis II: 2–4 years

Candidates with experience in Indian, Chinese, Continental, Tandoor, or Bakery sections will have an added advantage. Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
