Job Title: Collection Officer Department: Collections Industry: NBFC / Short-Term Loans / FinTech Location: Connaught Place, New Delhi Employment Type: Full-Time Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and result-oriented Collection Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing overdue accounts, following up with customers for timely repayments, and ensuring maximum recovery while maintaining a professional and customer-centric approach. The candidate should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills and have prior experience in collections, preferably in the NBFC or financial services industry.

Key ResponsibilitiesContact customers through phone calls to remind them of upcoming, due, and overdue loan repayments. Follow up with delinquent customers and ensure timely recovery of outstanding dues. Negotiate repayment plans with customers based on company policies.

Educate customers about payment options, late payment charges, and loan terms. Resolve customer queries related to loan repayments in a professional manner. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment commitments in the CRM/system.

Coordinate with internal departments to resolve payment-related issues. Achieve daily, weekly,



and monthly collection targets. Escalate high-risk or non-responsive accounts as per company guidelines. Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, company policies, and ethical collection practices.

Prepare daily collection reports and MIS for management review. Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.

Required

SkillsExcellent verbal communication skills in Hindi and English. Robust negotiation and persuasion abilities. Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally. Good listening and problem-solving skills. Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM software). Strong follow-up and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and achieve collection targets. QualificationsGraduate in any discipline (preferred). Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.

Experience in collections, customer service, tele-calling, banking, or NBFC will be an added advantage.
