Role Description The CMA Article role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kozhikode. The individual will assist with taxation and accounting assignments, including preparation and review of financial statements, working papers, and basic tax computations under Income Tax and GST. Daily tasks include supporting compliance activities such as GST returns, TDS filings, MCA-related documentation, and business registration procedures under supervision.

The CMA Article will participate in audit support work, data analysis, and report drafting,



while maintaining accurate records and adhering to current regulations and firm standards. The role also involves coordinating with team members, communicating with clients as required, and actively learning and applying skilled and regulatory updates relevant to cost and management accounting.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in cost and management accounting, taxation, and basic financial reporting, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical client assignments.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools (especially Excel and Word), including data entry, reconciliation, and preparation of schedules and simple reports.

Good analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately with financial data under defined timelines.

Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to client interaction and teamwork in a structured office environment.

Willingness to learn and stay updated on Income Tax, GST, MCA compliances, and other relevant regulations, following guidance from senior professionals.

Enrollment as a CMA student or pursuing Cost and Management Accounting, or a related commerce/accounting qualification, is preferred.

Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode on a full-time basis, demonstrating reliability, integrity, and a commitment to professional growth within the firm.
