Role Description This is a full-time remote Cloud Engineer role.

The Cloud

Engineer will design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure to support AI Vidya’s training platforms and internal systems.

Responsibilities include implementing scalable and secure cloud solutions, managing Linux-based servers, configuring and monitoring databases, and optimizing performance and reliability across environments. The role involves collaborating with software development teams to deploy applications, automate workflows, and improve CI/CD pipelines.

The Cloud

Engineer will also troubleshoot production issues, implement best practices for security and cost optimization,



and contribute to documentation and operational standards.

Qualifications

Solid foundation in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure, including experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools.

Proficiency in Linux administration and systems management, including monitoring, security hardening, and automation using shell scripting or similar tools.

Hands-on experience with Databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including configuration, performance tuning, backup strategies, and high availability.

Software Development skills with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).

Understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, load balancers, firewalls) and cloud security best practices.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and prior exposure to AI or data platforms is a plus.
