Job Requirements About the Role The Client Success Partner is a key enabler within the Startup Banking team who acts as a bridge between the central startup proposition and the bank’s extensive branch and network channel.
This role is responsible for building awareness, driving capability, and enabling acquisition of early and growth-stage startup clients through the branch channel. The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of the startup ecosystem, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence and empower large frontline distribution teams to successfully engage and onboard startups.
Key Responsibilities
Startup Acquisition Enablement
- Partner with regional and branch leadership teams to identify startup-rich micro-markets and build a robust acquisition funnel.
- Train, enable, and guide branch and relationship managers to effectively pitch banking solutions to early and growth-stage startups.
- Collaborate with Product and Knowledge teams to disseminate relevant pitch decks, product materials, and onboarding toolkits.
Ecosystem Expertise & Market Development
- Act as the go-to startup expert within the branch channel—sharing ecosystem updates, sector insights, and funding trends to improve field-level confidence.
- Work closely with the central Startup Banking team to localize acquisition strategies and recommend segment-specific interventions.
Client Onboarding & Success
- Ensure high-quality onboarding of startup clients acquired through the branch network by providing the necessary support and guidance to frontline teams.
- Help track post-onboarding client engagement to ensure a smooth transition into the Startup Banking program.
Channel Engagement
- Conduct regular in-branch workshops, engagement sessions, and periodic reviews with key stakeholders to drive focus and momentum.
- Serve as a feedback loop between the field and central team to continuously evolve acquisition tools and strategies.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Monitor acquisition targets, lead conversions, and activation metrics for startup customers acquired through the branch.
- Share actionable dashboards and performance updates with regional and central leadership teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in banking, startup engagement, fintech, or ecosystem development roles.
- Strong understanding of the startup lifecycle, funding stages, and financial needs of early/growth-stage ventures.
- Prior experience working with a distribution-heavy banking model (preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and ecosystem teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a deep client-first orientation.
