We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cleanroom HVAC Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Vadodara. The ideal candidate should have 4–5 years of hands-on experience in designing HVAC systems for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, semiconductor, food processing, and other cleanroom applications.

The candidate should be capable of independently handling HVAC design, calculations, equipment selection, and technical documentation while coordinating with project, procurement, and site execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design HVAC systems for cleanrooms in accordance with ASHRAE, ISO 14644, GMP, WHO, and other applicable standards.
- Perform heat load calculations using HAP or equivalent software.
- Design air distribution systems, including duct sizing, static pressure calculations, diffuser selection, and air balancing.
- Calculate ACPH, pressurization, filtration requirements, fresh air, exhaust air, and ventilation rates.
- Prepare HVAC layouts, ducting drawings, piping layouts, and equipment GA drawings using AutoCAD.
- Select AHUs, DX units, chillers, VRF systems, FCUs, exhaust fans, and ventilation equipment.
- Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, equipment schedules, and material take-offs.
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, architecture, process, and automation teams.
- Review vendor technical submissions and prepare technical comparisons.




- Participate in client meetings and provide technical support during project execution.
- Resolve design-related issues during installation and commissioning.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleanroom HVAC design principles.
- Experience with pharmaceutical cleanroom projects.
- Proficiency in HAP software for cooling load calculations.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with HVAC design standards including ASHRAE, ISO 14644, GMP, WHO, and SMACNA.
- Knowledge of psychrometrics, airflow calculations, filtration systems, pressure cascades, and cleanroom classifications.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation independently.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–5 years of experience in HVAC design, with at least 2 years in cleanroom projects.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare projects will be preferred.
- Knowledge of Revit/BIM will be an added advantage.
