Responsibilities
- Design and develop civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, and buildings.
- Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather relevant data.
- Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations during project design and execution.
- Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
- Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools for design and analysis.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software.
- Robust understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Project management experience is a plus.
