We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and play a key role in the construction and development of mission-critical Data Centre facilities.

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer with hands-on experience in Data Centre construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, quality assurance, and timely completion of civil works while ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end execution of civil construction activities for Data Centre projects.
- Supervise site activities including excavation, foundation, RCC works, structural construction, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Review engineering drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and construction methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with Data Centre construction standards, quality requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, material consumption, and resource utilization.




- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, workmanship, and adherence to approved drawings.
- Identify construction risks and proactively implement mitigation measures.
- Coordinate civil activities with electrical, HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, IBMS/BMS, and networking teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Verify contractor bills, work measurements, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at site.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and present project updates to management.
- Support project commissioning and handover activities.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of RCC, structural engineering, steel structures, industrial buildings, and finishing works.
- Experience in construction of Tier III/Tier IV Data Centres or other mission-critical infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Data Centre design considerations such as raised flooring, loading requirements, equipment foundations, cable trenches, utility corridors, and service infrastructure.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of QA/QC procedures and construction quality standards.




- Knowledge of relevant IS Codes, NBC, and construction safety regulations.
- Robust coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and work under tight project timelines.

Preferred Experience

Candidates having experience in one or more of the following will be preferred:

- Greenfield Data Centre construction projects
- Brownfield Data Centre expansion projects
- Large commercial or industrial infrastructure projects
- Mission-critical facilities
- High-rise commercial buildings with complex MEP integration

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- M.Tech in Structural Engineering or Construction Management will be an added advantage.
