Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time, in office leadership role based in Panaji, responsible for setting and executing Sentient Venture Studio’s overall technology vision and AI architecture. The CTO will oversee cross-functional software development and AI engineering teams, define scalable multi-tenant architectures, and guide product development to ensure solutions align with studio business goals and venture roadmaps.

Daily activities include collaborating with executive leadership on studio technology strategy, architecting shared AI cores and distributed data pipelines, managing technical projects, and establishing rigorous best practices for security, reliability, and performance. The role also involves mentoring engineering leaders, optimizing rapid development cycles across portfolio products,



evaluating emerging AI models and cloud technologies, and representing the technology function in stakeholder, investor, and strategic partner discussions.

Key Responsibilities1. AI Systems & Technical Architecture

- AI & Agentic Architectures: Architect and deploy production-grade AI systems, multi-agent frameworks, computer vision models, and verified behavior tracking systems across studio platforms.
- Core Scalable Infrastructure: Design resilient, high-throughput microservices, API-first integrations, vector stores, and event-driven distributed architectures to process real-time engagement data.
- Technology Roadmap & Platform Reuse: Define multi-year architectural blueprints and build reusable system engines that accelerate the launch of new ventures across sports, health tech, and lifestyle ecosystems.

1. Strategic Engineering & Product Leadership

- Cross-Functional Management: Direct software engineering, AI/ML research, cloud DevOps, and data security teams to execute complex multi-product roadmaps on time and within scope.
- Engineering Standards & Security: Establish industry-leading practices for code quality, CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure security, data privacy, and continuous observability.
- Venture Scaling: Coordinate technical execution across all phases of the venture studio lifecycle—from initial MVP build and deployment to escape velocity and independent scaling.

1. Executive Alignment & Team Mentorship





- Executive Partnership: Collaborate directly with studio founders to translate strategic venture models into scalable technical choices that create high capital efficiency and IP moats.
- Technical Mentorship: Build, mentor, and scale high-performance engineering teams, fostering an elite culture of agency, speed, and deep technical rigor.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary technical voice during strategic partner integrations, investor evaluations, and external enterprise discussions.

Qualifications & Competencies
- Proven Executive Leadership: Experience in senior technology leadership roles (VP of Engineering, Head of Architecture, or CTO) within a growth-stage startup, product studio, or high-scale technology enterprise.
- AI & Distributed Systems Architecture: Demonstrated expertise in architecting scalable distributed systems, microservices, and AI-native applications (including LLM orchestration, vector databases, multi-agent workflows, and real-time data pipelines).
- Software & Product Engineering: Strong mastery of modern cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), API architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), security protocols, and enterprise data compliance.
- Project Management & Execution: Strong track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex, multi-threaded technical initiatives on time and within scope using agile methodologies.
- Communication & Alignment: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge complex technical decisions with strategic business outcomes and commercial goals.
- Academic Background: Relevant degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent deep practical experience building scalable products.
