Purpose of Position The job incumbent is responsible for the extraction, handling, and troubleshooting of LCMSMS instruments as per customer/regulatory requirements. The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas lab testing activities including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.
Major Responsibilities
- Report to the Manager - Section In-Charge
- Extraction, handling, and troubleshooting of LCMSMS instruments
- Responsible for maintenance, calibration, and intermediate checks of instruments/glassware
- Follow indenting, receipt, inspection, and storage of CRM and consumables
- Preparation of standard operating procedures
- Assist the Section In-Charge in preparing ILC/PT programs and uncertainty measurements
- Other tasks as required
Roles &
Responsibilities for HSE
- Must comply with the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations
- Comply with company HSE requirements (e.g., policies, procedures, guidelines)
and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
- Take care of own health and safety as well as that of colleagues and others
- Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE, i.e., any incident or unsafe work practices/conditions to the immediate line managers
Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
- Reporting results as per TAT
- Technical competency and performance in the audit
- Achievement of Z score in PT ILC
- Addition of new techniques and updating of the latest skills
Qualification and Experience
- Science graduate with a Master's or equivalent degree holder
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in the Food Testing Industry
- Good with data entry
- Positive communication skills
- Basic computer skills and NABL audit skills
Skills & Qualities
- Knowledge of residue sample testing
- Handling and preparation of audit documents
