Role Description The Chemical Engineering Specialist is a full-time role responsible for supporting teaching, laboratory work, and applied research activities in chemical and process engineering. The specialist will design, supervise, and optimize experiments, assist in developing curriculum content aligned with current industry practices, and help maintain laboratory safety and compliance standards.



Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing experimental data, preparing technical reports and presentations, mentoring students on projects, and collaborating with faculty on academic and industry-linked initiatives.

The role is hybrid, based in Bengaluru, with the possibility of partial work from home for tasks such as documentation, data analysis, and virtual meetings.

Qualifications

Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering skills, with the ability to apply core principles to laboratory, industrial, or academic settings.

Solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, troubleshoot processes, and support evidence-based decision-making.

Effective Communication and Presentation Skills to convey technical concepts clearly to students, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Experience with laboratory safety practices, process simulation tools, or industrial operations is beneficial.

Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and support both teaching and research initiatives.

Familiarity with current industry standards, sustainable engineering practices, and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
