ABOUT THE INSTITUTION

Nilachal Polytechnic College of Engineering is a premier technical institution located in Bhubaneswar (near KIIT University, Sikharchandi Temple & Infocity Police Station). We are seeking a skilled and proactive CCTV & Computer Hardware Maintenance Assistant to manage, troubleshoot, and maintain campus-wide CCTV surveillance systems and computer hardware infrastructure.

- JOB PROFILE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- CCTV Surveillance Management: Installation, operation, monitoring, and routine maintenance of campus IP & analog CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR units, storage drives, and network cabling.
- Computer Hardware Maintenance: Assembling, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing desktop PCs, monitors, power supplies (SMPS), peripherals, and computer lab hardware.
- Network & Cabling Support: Troubleshooting LAN connections, Ethernet cabling (RJ45 crimping), network switches, and basic connectivity issues.
- Software & OS Configuration: Formatting systems,



installing Windows/Linux OS, system drivers, anti-virus software, and essential academic tools across computer labs.
- Preventive Maintenance & Repairs: Performing routine cleaning, hardware health diagnostics, identifying faulty components, and coordinating vendor repairs.
- Asset Register Maintenance: Maintaining logs of CCTV camera locations, hardware inventory, repair history, and maintenance registers.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

- Technical Qualification: Diploma in Computer Science / IT / Hardware & Networking, ITI (COPA / Electronic Mechanic), or relevant technical certification in CCTV & Hardware Maintenance.
- Technical Experience: Must have practical hands-on technical experience in CCTV installation, computer assembly, hardware troubleshooting, and networking.
- Availability: Immediate Joiner preferred.
- Core Skills: Hands-on knowledge of DVR/NVR setup, cable crimping, OS formatting, and component-level diagnostic skills.
