Role Description The Catering Sales Assistant is a full-time, in office role based at our Chennai property. This role supports the catering and events sales team in generating leads, preparing proposals, and coordinating with clients to understand their event needs. Daily activities include responding to inquiries, maintaining accurate records of bookings, assisting with event planning logistics, and ensuring clear communication between clients, kitchen staff, and operations teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with clients and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills focused on creating positive guest experiences and managing client expectations.
- Candidates should possess Catering Sales and Sales skills to support lead generation, proposal development, and conversion of inquiries into confirmed events.
- Candidates should possess Event Planning skills to assist with logistics, timelines, and coordination of catering details.
- Relevant skills such as organizational ability, attention to detail, and time management are highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with basic office software (email, spreadsheets, presentation tools) and hotel or event management systems is an advantage.
- Prior experience in hospitality, catering, or events, and a service-oriented mindset are preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is desirable.
