Job Title: CAM Engineer (CATIA)

Job Type: Full-time We are looking for a skilled CAM Engineer with hands-on experience in CATIA CAM to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in CNC machining, tool path generation, machining process planning, and machining simulation.

Key Responsibilities

Create and optimize CNC machining programs using CATIA CAM. Develop tool paths for milling, drilling, boring, and turning operations. Interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models. Define machining strategies, cutting tools, fixtures, feeds, and speeds. Perform machining simulation and collision checking. Troubleshoot machining-related issues and support production. Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality teams. Maintain CAM documentation and process sheets.

Required Skills

Minimum 2+ years of experience in CATIA CAM. Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes.



Experience with 3-axis or 5-axis machining. Good understanding of GD&T; and engineering drawings. Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, feeds, and speeds. Experience in tool path generation and machining simulation. Positive communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Aerospace, Automotive, or Precision Manufacturing. Knowledge of tooling and fixture design. Exposure to Teamcenter or other PLM systems. Understanding of G-code and CNC controllers (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain).

Qualification BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
