Company Description The Makrani Academy is an education coaching institute that provides structured support to learners across primary and secondary grades. The academy offers coaching for all subjects from grades 1 to 5 in English medium, and focused instruction in Science, Math, and English to support admission preparation. For students in grades 6 to 10 (CBSE/GSEB), it delivers curriculum-aligned teaching designed to strengthen academic performance.

The academy also provides specialized coaching in Biology for grades 11 and 12 Science, along with NEET basics and entrance exam preparation. Located in Vadodara, The Makrani Academy is dedicated to helping students build strong foundations and succeed in competitive examinations.

Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for driving enrollment growth and building strategic relationships for The Makrani Academy. Day-to-day activities include identifying new business opportunities, engaging with schools, parents, and local partners, and promoting the academy’s coaching programs. The role involves developing and executing outreach campaigns, managing lead pipelines, and following up with prospective students and families.

The Business Development

Manager will also analyze local market trends,



prepare reports on performance, and collaborate with academic and administrative teams to align offerings with community needs. Regular responsibilities include attending events, conducting presentations, and ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for all stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, relationship management, and conversion of prospects.

- Experience in marketing and outreach, with the ability to plan and execute local campaigns, events, and promotional activities.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with parents, students, and school representatives.

- Basic understanding of the education sector, especially school curricula and entrance exam coaching, is highly beneficial.

- Proven organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.

- Comfort working on-site in Vadodara, with a customer-focused approach and a skilled demeanor.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; relevant experience in educational services or coaching centers is an advantage.
