Slidea is an AI-powered interactive presentation platform that turns traditional slides into engaging, two-way conversations. Built for educators, corporate teams, speakers, and event hosts, Slidea enables live polls, quizzes, word clouds, Q&A;, and real-time feedback, powered by intelligent AI that can build presentations from prompts, import existing decks, and surface audience insights and analytics. We're on a mission to turn passive audiences into active participants, and we're looking for a Business Development Executive to help bring Slidea to institutions and businesses across Tamil Nadu.
What you'll do:
? Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Slidea across schools, colleges, and corporate accounts in Tamil Nadu, generating qualified leads and nurturing them through the sales pipeline.
? Research target markets and conduct outreach through calls, emails, field visits, and in-person meetings.
? Present and demo Slidea's platform to academic and business decision-makers, building long-term relationships with key accounts.
? Travel extensively across Tamil Nadu to onboard institutions and represent Slidea at meetings, seminars, and events.
?? Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, share market feedback, and support promotional campaigns.
? Track pipeline metrics and maintain accurate records using CRM tools, working toward monthly and quarterly targets. What we're looking for:
?? 1+ Year experience in new business development and lead generation activities of EdTech products.
? Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English, spoken and written, with robust presentation and active listening abilities.
?? Solid understanding of account management, pipeline handling, and negotiation.
? Comfort with data and CRMs like Zoho for tracking and forecasting.
? Willingness and readiness to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu.
? Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field.
? Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Why join us:
