Role Description The Bunker Trader role at Trivoro is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Bunker

Trader will be responsible for sourcing and selling marine fuels, negotiating contracts with suppliers and customers, and managing daily trading activities in line with company strategies and risk parameters. This role includes monitoring commodity and fuel markets, analyzing pricing and demand trends, and identifying trading opportunities in relevant regions.

Trader will coordinate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, accurate documentation, and compliant commercial execution. The role also involves building and maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships to support long-term business growth.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Oil Trading and Fuel markets, with hands-on experience in bunkering or related marine energy procurement.

Experience in Trading and Trading Strategies, including exposure to risk management and commercial decision-making.

Understanding of Commodity Markets, price drivers, and global shipping industry dynamics.

Ability to analyze market data, pricing structures, and supply-demand trends to identify trading opportunities.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships across cultures.

High level of numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and comfort working with trade-related documentation and contracts.

Proactive, results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive trading environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Maritime Studies, or a related field; prior experience in shipping or marine fuel trading is an advantage.
