Business Head – Wealth Vertical Location: Bengaluru About The Company A fast-growing Bengaluru-based wealthtech company building an app-first investment advisory and portfolio management platform for Indian retail investors. Its subscription-led wealth product bridges the gap between mutual fund distribution and ultra-HNI portfolio management by combining investment research, advisory, and technology. Operating as a SEBI-registered Research Analyst, the company is positioned in one of India's fastest-growing wealthtech segments.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact business leadership role created to scale an existing ~₹400 crore AUM business into a multi-thousand-crore platform over the next two years. The role is primarily focused on business growth and sales leadership, rather than investment research. You will work closely with the Founder & CEO and lead the existing team across sales, research, and operations, with sales being the primary area of ownership.

Key Responsibilities Build & Scale the Sales Engine Own and optimize the end-to-end customer acquisition funnel across direct sales, telesales, field sales, and partnerships.

Identify the highest-impact growth channels and build a scalable, repeatable sales engine.

Drive significant growth in AUM and revenue through robust execution and commercial leadership. Lead the Commercial Function This is an 80% sales-focused leadership role with overall oversight of the research and operations teams.

Lead the sales organization while ensuring alignment across research, sales, and operations.

Establish clear operating rhythms, performance metrics, and accountability across functions.

Build a customer-first culture where every client interaction strengthens trust and long-term relationships.



Business & P&L; Ownership Own the business revenue and overall P&L.;

Drive strategic initiatives to improve customer acquisition, conversion, retention, and business profitability.

Monitor business performance and make data-driven decisions to achieve aggressive growth targets. Build for Scale Strengthen processes, team capabilities, and execution as the business grows.

Partner closely with leadership on business strategy and execution priorities.

Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high ownership and ambiguity.

Ideal

Candidate 8–12 years of experience in B2C financial services sales or business leadership.

Experience in wealth management, broking, mutual fund distribution, investment advisory, or insurance distribution.

Demonstrated track record of scaling AUM or revenue from tens of crores to hundreds of crores through personal business ownership.

Strong direct sales leadership experience with the ability to oversee cross-functional teams across sales, research, and operations.

Experience owning business metrics, revenue targets, and commercial outcomes.

Comfortable building teams, processes, and operating models in a high-growth environment.

Preferred Experience Experience in wealthtech or broking is preferred but not mandatory.

Strong understanding of retail investment products, customer acquisition, and advisory-led businesses.

Prior experience working in a startup or high-growth organization. Not a Fit Pure equity research or PMS professionals without business ownership or sales leadership experience.

Leaders who have only managed large, well-established sales organizations without building businesses from the ground up.

Performance marketing or growth marketing professionals without end-to-end commercial ownership. ===
