Position: Business Unit Head – Acute Care

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: Vice President- Sales & Marketing

Role Purpose

Lead the Acute Care Business Unit by driving profitable growth, strengthening market leadership, and delivering sustainable business performance. The role is accountable for P&L; management, portfolio strategy, commercial execution, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the P&L; and overall performance of the Acute Care Business.
- Develop and execute business, marketing, and portfolio strategies to achieve growth and profitability.
- Drive brand performance, new product launches, and lifecycle management.
- Partner with Sales to enhance field force effectiveness and commercial excellence.
- Monitor business performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Collaborate with Medical, Regulatory, Finance, Supply Chain, HR,



and other functions for seamless business execution.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical business practices.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or Life Sciences; MBA preferred.
- 18–25 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with significant exposure to Acute Care.
- Proven leadership in P&L; management, marketing strategy, commercial excellence, and people development.
