Biomedical Engineer Walnut Breastpumps
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
Travel Requirement: Extensive travel across India
About the Role
Walnutbreastpumps is looking for a passionate and technically skilled Biomedical Engineer to join our growing service and clinical support team. The role involves installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, training, and technical support for Walnut's range of hospital-grade breast pumps and human milk bank equipment across hospitals, NICUs, maternity centres, and milk banks throughout India.

Key Responsibilities
1. Install, commission, and demonstrate Walnut hospital-grade breast pumps and related accessories.
2. Install, service, and maintain human milk bank equipment, including pasteurisers and associated systems. 3)Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs.
4)Conduct product demonstrations and technical training for doctors, nurses, lactation consultants, biomedical engineers, and hospital staff.
5)Promote and sell Walnut's products and solutions to hospitals, healthcare institutions, and channel partners by identifying current business opportunities and supporting the sales process.
6)Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital biomedical departments, purchase teams, clinicians, and key decision-makers.
3. Assist in achieving regional sales targets through product presentations, follow-ups, and customer engagement. 8)Support hospitals during new equipment installations and commissioning.
9)Respond promptly to service calls and ensure minimal equipment downtime.
10)Maintain detailed service reports, installation records, customer visit reports, and sales activity updates.
4. Coordinate with the sales, technical, and customer support teams to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
5. Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols and company quality standards. 13)Provide technical and market feedback to support product improvements and business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Freshers with robust technical aptitude are encouraged to apply. Prior medical equipment service experience is an added advantage.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to learn new medical technologies.
Training Comprehensive product training will be provided by Walnut. This includes:
- Walnut Hospital-Grade Breast Pumps
- Breastfeeding support products and accessories
- Human Milk Bank Pasteurisers and related equipment
- Installation, servicing, preventive maintenance, and customer training
Travel Requirement This position requires extensive travel across India. Candidates should be comfortable travelling frequently, staying away from home when required, and supporting hospitals and healthcare institutions nationwide.
