The key requirements are as follows: · Custom BigCommerce platform development · Integration with Business Central · Experience with product customizers that include multiple attributes and visual display capabilities · Custom payment gateway integrations · Store locator functionality with customization options · Experience with upgrading to BigCommerce v3. · Knowledge of B2C workflow implementation with BigCommerce. · Experience with migrating to BigCommerce for B2B flow is good to have.

Overview:

The BigCommerce Developer plays a crucial role in the organization by designing, implementing, and maintaining custom e-commerce solutions. They are responsible for leveraging the BigCommerce platform to enhance the online shopping experience, drive sales, and optimize performance for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and customize BigCommerce themes and templates to meet client needs
- Integrate third-party applications and APIs to expand e-commerce functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement front-end features




- Ensure responsive design and optimal user experience across different devices
- Implement and maintain payment gateways, shipping methods, and tax configurations
- Optimize website performance and conduct troubleshooting as needed
- Stay updated with BigCommerce platform updates and best practices
- Provide technical support and training to clients and team members
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience in customizing and developing solutions on the BigCommerce platform
- Proficiency in frontend development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices
- Experience with API integration and web services development
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize website performance and functionality
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional setting
- Knowledge of web analytics and SEO best practices for e-commerce sites
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs and project timelines
- Certifications in BigCommerce development and/or related technologies is a plus
