SRS Business Solutions India is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented BI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with expert data modeling skills, capable of developing robust Business Intelligence solutions for our Commercial Organizations (Finance, CRM, Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing). This role demands solid analytical abilities, a keen eye for data quality, and excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Data Modeling & Solution Development: Possess expert data modeling skills, including conceptual, logical, and physical model design. Participate actively in the development of Business Intelligence solutions to meet the needs of various Commercial Organizations.
- Requirements Evaluation & Data Quality: Evaluate complex business requirements, conduct Proofs of Concept (POCs), and proactively identify and flag data anomalies within source systems. Perform end-to-end data validation for solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data.
- SQL Development & Performance Tuning: Develop and performance-tune complex SQL (PL/SQL and/or T-SQL) queries and stored procedures.
- Automation & Scripting: Able to manage batch processes using any scripting language like Perl, Unix, or Python.
- Strategic Design & Communication:



Create strategic designs and mappings of business requirements to system/technical requirements. Effectively communicate, translate, and simplify complex business requirements to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders.
- Project Management & Collaboration: Be well-versed with project tracking tools like Jira and Github. Work on ad-hoc requests and manage simultaneous projects or tasks effectively.

Requirements

- Database Development: 7-10 years of experience with Database Development using Packages/Stored Procedures/Triggers in SQL and PLSQL.
- Dimensional Modeling: 7-10 years of experience in Dimensional Modeling, Star and Snowflake Schemas design, and maintaining dimensions using Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).
- SQL Performance Tuning: 7+ years of experience in SQL performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Source Systems (Plus): Experience with source systems like Salesforce (SOQL), NetSuite, or any other CRM is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Effective and positive communication and Team working skills.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work on ad-hoc requests and simultaneously on multiple projects or tasks. Result-oriented, self-starter, and self-motivated, capable of managing multiple time-sensitive assignments.
