The Opportunity

- We're searching for a passionate Analytics Engineer to join our growing team
- You'll be instrumental in building a robust self-service analytics environment, enabling business users to access and analyze data independently
- This means less time building pipelines and more time crafting intuitive dashboards, reports, and data models that guide strategic decision-making

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions that support the democratization of data
- Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and semantic models
- Design and develop highly scalable assets using tools like Power BI, MicroStrategy, Oracle Analytics Cloud, or similar industry-leading platforms
- Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels to understand needs and translate them into impactful elements of the model
- Build effective dashboards and reports to facilitate insight
- Implement best practices for data quality, governance, and security within a centralized BI environment
- Document data models, processes, and dashboards comprehensively for easy understanding and self-service access




- Contribute to a culture of enablement through training, user experience modeling, process mapping, etc,
- Collaborate with other members of the data team to ensure the success of projects
- Stay up-to-date on emerging analytics trends and technologies, proactively proposing innovative solutions

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or similar data-focused role
- Deep understanding of semantic models and data modeling concepts
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing technologies like Snowflake
- Proven ability to build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, MicroStrategy, Oracle Analytics Cloud, or similar tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, adept at explaining complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Team-oriented and consultative approach to problem-solving, focusing on enabling self-sufficiency
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high data quality standards
- Passion for data and its potential to drive business impact
