Responsibilities Overview - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that enable business decision-making across the organization. Rebuild and modernize 1,000 legacy reporting assets, including migration of Cognos reports to Power BI and development of analytical outputs directly from Databricks. Develop robust Power BI data models, DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and interactive visualizations following best practices.

Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve data from the contemporary Azure data platform, including Databricks Delta tables. Build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks. Develop scalable data transformation solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python.

Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems to create reliable and high-quality datasets for reporting and analytics. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.



Work with large datasets to ensure data accuracy, governance, performance optimization, and report reliability.

Continuously improve reporting and data engineering processes through performance tuning and cost optimization across Azure services. Implement standardized development practices, automated testing, deployment pipelines, and version control using Azure DevOps. Work within Agile/Scrum teams, participate in sprint ceremonies, manage deliverables, and collaborate with global teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Provide production support, troubleshoot reporting and data pipeline issues, and recommend process improvements.
