Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Full-Stack Engineer to join our Channel Domain technology team. In this strategic position, you will drive the front-to-back delivery of modern corporate banking portals, high-volume digital workflows, and cloud-native microservices, serving as a key technical anchor for our digital transformation initiatives in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

- Architecture & Delivery: Architect, design, and implement scalable, high-performance web applications and RESTful microservices.
- Full-Stack Execution: Lead front-to-back development across modern frontend UI frameworks and enterprise Java backends.
- Cloud & DevOps Integration: Build and maintain containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes) deployed on cloud environments (AWS or Azure) with automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Technical Leadership: Conduct rigorous code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and mentor agile pod members.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Owners, UX teams,



and global business stakeholders to translate requirements into resilient technical solutions.

Technical & Qualified Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years of professional enterprise software engineering experience with a track record in a lead or technical anchor role.
- Backend Mastery: Strong expertise in Java (11/17), Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate/JPA, and REST API design.
- Frontend Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React.js or Angular).
- Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git workflows.
- Databases & Messaging: Solid database design skills (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and familiarity with event streaming (Kafka) or SQL/NoSQL platforms.
- Domain Exposure: Prior experience in corporate banking, payments, or high-volume transactional financial systems is preferred.

Preferred / Standout Skills
- Experience integrating AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) or GenAI orchestration frameworks into development workflows.
- Industry cloud certifications (AWS Certified Developer or Microsoft Azure Architect).
