Role: BeyondTrust Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced BeyondTrust Engineer with strong expertise in implementation, engineering, API integration, and custom connector development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions using BeyondTrust Password Safe while building secure and scalable integrations across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, configure, and support BeyondTrust Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
- Develop custom connectors for applications, databases, operating systems, network devices, and cloud platforms.
- Configure password rotation, credential verification, reconciliation, and privileged account onboarding.
- Build API-based integrations using BeyondTrust Public APIs and supported integration frameworks.
- Configure and manage Workgroups, Assets, Managed Systems, Managed Accounts, Smart Rules, Password Policies, and Access Policies.
- Integrate BeyondTrust with Active Directory, LDAP, Microsoft Entra ID, SAML, SIEM, ITSM, and other enterprise platforms.
- Configure privileged session management, approval workflows, credential checkout, session recording, and reporting.
- Automate privileged account discovery, onboarding, and credential lifecycle management.
- Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, SQL, or similar scripting technologies.
- Troubleshoot password rotation, connector, API, reconciliation, discovery, and privileged session issues.
- Prepare HLD, LLD, runbooks, connector specifications,



test plans, and operational documentation.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, database, security, and service management teams to deliver secure PAM solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 7–10+ years of experience in Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with BeyondTrust Password Safe.
- Strong experience implementing and supporting enterprise BeyondTrust PAM solutions.
- Hands-on experience developing custom connectors and API-based integrations.
- Strong knowledge of BeyondTrust Public REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, API authentication, certificates, and secure integration practices.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell with working knowledge of Python, Bash, SQL, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, Unix, Active Directory, LDAP, and enterprise networking concepts.
- Good understanding of privileged account discovery, onboarding, password rotation, reconciliation, and session management.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or CloudFormation is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
