- Santriya Technologies is looking for an experienced Banking Legal Advisor with UK or US financial services experience to support banking governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, operational resilience, and corporate governance initiatives.

- About the Role: This advisory role is designed for senior legal professionals, compliance specialists, and regulatory advisors seeking flexible consulting or part time advisory assignments.

- Engagements may be structured as retainers, project-based assignments, or day-rate contracts with scope to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise banking and financial services clients on FCA regulatory requirements, PRA rules, Consumer Duty obligations, and operational resilience frameworks

- Provide legal and advisory guidance on banking governance frameworks, board reporting, senior management responsibilities (SMCR), and internal controls

- Review and advise on regulatory submissions, policy documents, governance frameworks, and board-level compliance reporting

- Advise on Basel III / IV capital requirements, liquidity risk management, and prudential regulatory changes

- Support clients on AML, sanctions compliance, financial crime risk management, and KYC framework design





- Advise on product governance obligations, consumer protection regulations, and conduct risk frameworks

- Support regulatory investigations, enforcement matters, and interactions with UK and international regulators

- Assist with policy horizon scanning, regulatory change management, and impact assessments on new and emerging regulations

- Provide board-level advisory support on corporate governance matters, risk oversight, and fiduciary responsibilities

- Draft legal opinions, regulatory briefings, and advisory memoranda for senior stakeholders

- Collaborate with in-house legal teams, compliance officers, and risk functions to ensure regulatory alignment What We Are Looking For:

- Senior qualified legal professional with deep financial services regulatory knowledge

- Experience advising banks, financial institutions, or regulators in the UK, US, or internationally

- Strong knowledge of FCA/PRA regulatory frameworks, SMCR, Consumer Duty, and operational resilience

- Excellent advisory, analytical, and communication skills with experience presenting to boards and senior management
