We are seeking an experienced Bankfast Lead Engineer with expertise in implementing Sandstone Technology's BankFast eXperience Platform (BXP). In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, integration, and deployment of BXP to support our business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and ensuring the platform is tailored for optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Implementation Projects: Manage end-to-end implementation of Sandstone Technology's BXP, from initial requirements to deployment and post-launch support.
- Architect Solutions: Design and develop scalable, secure solutions within the BXP framework, ensuring business alignment.
- Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Integration: Seamlessly integrate BXP with existing systems and third-party services, ensuring secure and consistent transactions.
- Customization: Adapt the BXP platform to meet specific business requirements, including developing custom components.
- Collaboration: Work alongside product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the platform delivers exceptional user experiences.
- Quality Assurance: Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after implementation to maintain a smooth user experience.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture and operational procedures.




- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest advancements in Sandstone Technology and recommend platform enhancements.

Qualifications:

- Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in implementing Sandstone Technology's BXP.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver successful digital banking projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, .NET, Angular, React).
- Expertise in API development, microservices architecture, and cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Solid understanding of Sandstone Technology's BXP, including customization and integration.
- Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of digital banking solutions, including customer onboarding and loan origination within the BXP ecosystem.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, fostering innovation and excellence.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, leading teams through Agile processes.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex challenges.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with additional digital banking platforms and technologies.
- Certification or formal training in Sandstone Technology products.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the financial services industry, particularly in digital banking.
