Roaming Tours & Travels is looking for Backend Engineer (Online Travel Agency). We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will develop and maintain the core systems that power our travel platform. You will work closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to build scalable, high-performance backend solutions that support our mission to create unforgettable travel experiences for our customers.

Your Responsibility

- Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs for our travel platform.
- Build scalable, efficient, and secure applications using modern web technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices and quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and continuously improve the backend infrastructure.




- Ensure high availability and low-latency performance of our applications.Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in backend development (3+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python / Java / Node.js or Go.
- Experience working with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Familiarity with databases (NoSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including testing, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently in a quick-paced environment.

Skills & Qualification
- Experience with travel industry platforms or services is a plus.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture.
- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices.
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Airline,Travel Agent,Immigration/Visa Processing,Travel Startup

Educational Requirements

- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
- [Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology ] students will get preference
