- Experience in production deployments where there are > 10k users.
- Experience with FastAPI and (optionally) GoLang. I am seeing a lot of Flask and Django, which indicates that they have not developed a microservice with Python recently.
- Preferably, this API should have a lot of I/O calls that need to be orchestrated for high-concurrency requests.
- Experience with queues: Celery or RabbitMQ or AWS SQS.
- Experience with Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Databricks, and Iceberg.
- Experience with web sockets (socket.io ), asynchronous programming (async.io ), etc.
- Experience with Kubernetes: know how APIs can be scaled when deployed on K8s (this is not deploying APIs on K8s, which DevOps does). This is knowledge on how to run scalable microservices on K8s.
- No gaps in experience; no overlapping work across multiple companies.
