Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and passionate Backend Engineer Intern to join our energetic team. Under the direct supervision of our Chief Technology Officer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our state-of-the-art job application and resume optimization tool. Note: It's a 6 month internship with potential for a full-time position upon successful completion of the internship Key Responsibilities System Design & Development: Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and design scalable and efficient backend systems. Integration & APIs Develop and manage APIs for interaction between the frontend and backend systems.
Database Management
Design, implement, and maintain the database systems ensuring data integrity and scalability.
Testing: Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability and performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with the frontend team, ensuring seamless integration and smooth deployment.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated with the latest backend development practices and integrate them wherever suitable.
Feedback Loop: Regularly provide insights and suggestions to improve the system's efficiency, performance, and user experience.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 0-2 years of experience in backend development. Proficiency in Python. Familiarity with database technologies like e.g., MySQL, MongoDB.
Knowledge of API development and management. Understanding of software development best practices. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Nice-to-have: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
