About The Role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js. The ideal candidate will have experience building production-ready REST APIs, working with MongoDB, integrating cloud services, and developing secure backend systems. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, mobile engineers, and product teams to deliver reliable and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain secure RESTful APIs using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.

- Build scalable backend services that support web and mobile applications.

- Design and optimize MongoDB databases using Mongoose ODM.

- Implement authentication and authorization using JWT and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

- Integrate third-party services such as AWS S3, Firebase Admin SDK, Twilio, MSG91, and other APIs.

- Develop background jobs and scheduled tasks using node-cron.

- Generate reports and document exports using Puppeteer and ExcelJS.

- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.

- Maintain deployment workflows using Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, PM2, SSH,



and Linux servers.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, mobile teams, QA engineers, and product managers throughout the development lifecycle.

- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable TypeScript code following industry best practices.

Required Skills

- 3–6 years of professional experience in Backend Development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.

- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES2020 ).

- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.

- Strong knowledge of MongoDB and Mongoose ODM.

- Experience implementing JWT Authentication and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

- Experience integrating third-party APIs and cloud services.

- Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control.

- Experience working with Linux environments and deployment tools.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
