EMI Collection Executive Job Responsibilities

1. EMI Follow-Up & Recovery

Contact customers through calls, visits, or messages to remind them of pending EMIs.

Ensure timely collection of monthly installments as per schedule.

Handle overdue accounts and follow up for payment recovery.

Maintain good customer relations while ensuring collections are made.

2. Record Keeping & Reporting

Update customer payment records accurately in the system.

Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.

Reconcile collected amounts with accounts/finance departments.

3. Field Visits (if applicable)

Visit defaulters locations for on-ground collection.

Collect cheques, cash,



or other payment modes and deposit them as per company policy.

Identify and report skip/absconding customers to the supervisor.

4. Customer Interaction & Support

Explain repayment schedules, penalties, and settlement options to customers.

Assist customers in resolving payment-related issues or disputes.

Promote online or auto-debit payment options for convenience.

5. Compliance & Company Policy

Follow all company guidelines and legal norms for collections.

Ensure data privacy and ethical handling of customer information.

Report fraudulent cases or suspicious activities immediately.

Skills & Requirements

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM software).

Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.

Field collection experience (preferred for NBFC roles).
