Job Summary We are seeking a Lead Cloud & DevOps Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-scale Azure platforms. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, focusing on architecture, platform reliability, automation, and DevOps maturity. The candidate will lead engineering initiatives, mentor teams, and influence strategic technology decisions, including adoption of AI-driven capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade Azure cloud architectures ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost optimization.
- Architect and standardize CI/CD and DevOps frameworks across teams using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Drive platform engineering initiatives, creating reusable infrastructure and deployment patterns (IaC, modules, templates).
- Establish and enforce SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs, observability, incident management, capacity planning).
- Own and optimize Azure infrastructure (AKS, App Services, Networking, Identity, Storage) at scale.
- Lead automation strategy using PowerShell, Python, and Terraform/Bicep for end-to-end lifecycle management.
- Define and implement security, governance, and compliance frameworks (Zero Trust, RBAC, Policy, Defender for Cloud).
- Mentor and guide engineering teams; drive technical excellence, code quality, and best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners,



and business stakeholders to translate business strategy into technical solutions.
- Drive innovation initiatives, including adoption of Generative AI and Azure AI services within engineering workflows.
- Establish documentation standards, knowledge sharing, and platform transparency.
- Act as a technical escalation point for critical incidents and complex problem resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 812+ years of experience in Cloud / DevOps / SRE, with strong Azure expertise.
- Deep knowledge of Azure services (AKS, VNet, LB, App Services, Functions, AAD, Storage).
- Advanced experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) with reusable module design.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD architecture and enterprise DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS) at scale and container platforms.
- Robust understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Expertise in monitoring & observability tools (Azure Monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, CLI automation).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI integration is a strong advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications: AZ-305, AZ-400, AZ-104 (mandatory/strongly preferred)
- Experience with DevSecOps, GitOps, and platform engineering models
- Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
