Role Description The AWS Cloud Operations Engineer intern role is a full-time, hybrid position based in India, with a mix of in office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. The intern will assist in monitoring and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, configuring, and supporting compute, storage, and networking resources.

Daily tasks include deploying and updating applications, managing backups, reviewing system logs, and helping to ensure security, reliability, and cost efficiency of cloud environments. The intern will collaborate with software development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, document solutions,



and contribute to automation scripts and basic infrastructure-as-code templates. The role also involves learning and applying best practices for Linux server administration, database connectivity, and performance optimization under guidance from senior engineers.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Cloud Computing and AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC).
- Candidates should possess skills in Infrastructure management, including basic networking concepts, monitoring, and automation tools.
- Candidates should possess skills in Linux operating systems, including command-line usage, system monitoring, and basic shell scripting.
- Candidates should possess skills in Databases, including relational database concepts, SQL fundamentals, and connectivity in cloud environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development fundamentals, such as at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or Node.js) and version control (Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and CI/CD tools is a plus.
