About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) HR Shared Services Operations to lead and scale a large HR Shared Services organization in Hyderabad. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for establishing and managing end-to-end HR operations through the transition of HR processes from the United States to India.

The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, build a high-performing team, and partner with global stakeholders to deliver productive, scalable, and customer-focused HR services. The organization is expected to grow to approximately 400 employees by the end of 2027.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the setup and expansion of the HR Shared Services function in Hyderabad.
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations across multiple HR service lines.
- Manage large-scale transition (lift-and-shift) of HR processes from the US to India, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and operational stability.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing HR Shared Services team.
- Drive service delivery excellence through defined SLAs, KPIs, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with global HR leaders and business stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality HR support.
- Standardize, streamline, and optimize HR processes while identifying automation opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and data privacy standards.
- Lead workforce planning, performance management,



and organizational capability development within the Shared Services function.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree or MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in HR Operations or HR Shared Services.
- Proven experience leading large-scale HR Shared Services organizations in a global environment.
- Strong experience in managing transition and migration projects, particularly from the US.
- Demonstrated success in leading large teams and scaling operations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar is preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies will be an added advantage.
