Machine Automation & Process Engineer Memory Foam Production Line

Position Summary The Machine Automation & Process Engineer shall be responsible for learning, operating, optimizing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the imported High Pressure PU Foaming Machine, 6-Axis Industrial Robot, and Automatic Circular Production Line used for manufacturing memory foam products. During installation and commissioning, the incumbent shall work closely with the overseas installation engineers to acquire complete technical knowledge of the machinery, enabling independent operation, process optimization, preventive maintenance, and future troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with the overseas installation engineers during machine installation, commissioning, and trial production.

Learn and understand the complete operation, programming, calibration, and adjustment of the High Pressure Foaming Machine, 6-Axis Robot, and Automatic Circular Production Line.

Set up and change moulds for different memory foam products and adjust robot programs, pouring positions, pouring patterns, shot size, chemical quantity, and timing according to each mould design.

Configure and optimize machine parameters including PolyolIsocyanate mixing ratio, injection pressure, flow rate, chemical quantity, cycle time, robot movement, production line speed, and synchronization between all equipment.

Ensure proper coordination between the robot, foaming machine,



and circular production line so that chemicals are dispensed accurately into the correct mould at the appropriate time while maintaining continuous production.

Develop, document, and standardize operating parameters, product-specific machine settings, robot programs, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Monitor production quality, identify process improvements, reduce material wastage, optimize cycle time, and ensure consistent product quality and production efficiency.

Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, calibration, and servicing of the foaming machine, robot, production line, pumps, mixing head, sensors, PLC systems, motors, and other associated equipment.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automation, and process-related issues to minimize production downtime.

Maintain maintenance records, machine history, troubleshooting guides, spare parts inventory, and recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability.

Provide technical support and training to production and maintenance personnel to ensure safe and efficient machine operation.

Coordinate with equipment manufacturers or technical service providers whenever specialized technical assistance is required.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering

Solid aptitude for industrial automation, robotics, PLC-controlled machinery, process optimization, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

Good analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to work closely with overseas technical experts during installation and commissioning.
