We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Drafting Specialist with at least 1 years of experience in technical drawing for furniture. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in CAD software and a good understanding of furniture manufacturing processes and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings for custom furniture designs with precision and accuracy.
- Collaborate with designers and production teams to convert concepts into manufacturing-ready drawings.
- Utilize drafting software such as AutoCAD, CNC Modeling and SketchUp for creating 2D and 3D drawings.
- Ensure that all drawings comply with company and industry standards.
- Revise designs as needed based on feedback from clients, designers, or production teams.
- Maintain a well-organized library of drawings, files, and documentation for ongoing and future projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Furniture Design & Manufacturing.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other related drafting software.
- Knowledge of furniture materials, hardware, joinery techniques, and production processes.
- Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, design-driven setting.
