Role Description The Audit and Assurance Intern will support audit teams in executing statutory and internal audits, including testing controls, verifying documentation, and assisting in the preparation of working papers and audit reports. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and organizing financial data, performing basic analytical procedures, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.

The intern will collaborate with senior professionals, attend client meetings as required,



and help in maintaining accurate records and files for ongoing engagements. This is an internship role based on-site at the firm’s Mumbai office, offering hands-on exposure to assurance and advisory work.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and basic auditing concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in data analysis, use of spreadsheets (e.g., MS Excel), and working with accounting or ERP software.
- Candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare transparent documentation and interact professionally with teams and clients.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks under guidance.
- Candidates should possess a learning mindset, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Enrollment in or completion of a commerce, accounting, finance, or related degree program; pursuing CA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
- Interest in audit, assurance, and advisory services, with willingness to work on-site in Mumbai and adapt to dynamic client requirements.
