The role provides hands-on technical leadership across SAP Basis administration, system monitoring, installations, upgrades, patching, transport management, security administration, high availability, disaster recovery, and technical support for SAP applications. Working closely with SAP functional teams, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity, cloud providers, and external partners, the Associate

Manager ensures the SAP platform remains secure, available, scalable, and aligned with business and technology standards while contributing to projects, transformations, cloud initiatives, and continuous service improvements.

- Managing the day-to-day technical administration of the SAP landscape.
- Ensuring high availability and optimal performance of all SAP environments.
- Providing technical ownership of SAP Basis services across production and non-production systems.
- Supporting SAP implementation, upgrade, migration, and transformation projects.
- Managing SAP system lifecycle activities including installations, refreshes, and decommissioning.
- Leading technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis of SAP platform issues.
- Ensuring SAP systems comply with security, audit, and compliance requirements.
- Managing SAP transport management processes across all environments.
- Collaborating with infrastructure, database, network, cybersecurity, and application teams.

Operations:

- Administer SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, SAP Web Dispatcher, SAP PI/PO (or Integration Suite), SAP Content Server, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Router, and other SAP technical components.
- Perform SAP system installations, upgrades, enhancement package implementations, support package stacks, kernel upgrades, and technical patching.
- Manage SAP system copies, client copies, client refreshes, system refreshes, and environment provisioning.
- Administer SAP HANA databases including backup coordination, recovery support, performance monitoring, and database maintenance activities.
- Manage SAP transport landscape including Transport Management System (TMS), ChaRM integration where applicable, transport sequencing, and production releases.
- Monitor SAP system health, availability, performance, interfaces, background jobs, spool systems, locks, memory utilization, CPU utilization, storage consumption, and work processes.
- Perform performance tuning across SAP application servers, HANA databases, operating systems, and interfaces.
- Configure and maintain SAP High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), failover environments, clustering, replication, and business continuity capabilities.
- Manage SAP users, authorizations, technical users, RFC connections, certificates, SSO integration,



SNC configuration, and technical security components in coordination with security teams.
- Support SAP Identity Management, Identity Authentication Services, Identity

Provisioning Services, and enterprise authentication mechanisms where applicable.
- Maintain SAP interface connectivity including RFCs, web services, APIs, middleware
- Support SAP cloud technologies including SAP RISE, SAP BTP, cloud connectors, cloud integration, and hybrid landscapes.
- Participate in SAP technical architecture reviews and recommend infrastructure improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, runbooks, recovery procedures, and technical standards.
- Coordinate SAP maintenance windows, planned outages, and release activities with business stakeholders.
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Support technical aspects of SAP projects including implementations, acquisitions, divestitures, rollouts, and upgrades.
- Ensure SAP monitoring tools, alerting platforms, and operational dashboards are properly configured and maintained.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize operating systems, virtualization platforms, storage, networking, and cloud resources supporting SAP.
- Drive automation using scripting, monitoring tools, and orchestration technologies to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Configuration, and Service Request Management.
- Participate in on-call support and major incident management activities when required.
