We are seeking an Associate Data Quality Analyst – Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, verifying, and resolving data quality issues within financial and capital markets data. Additionally, you will be tasked with analyzing various reports and identifying discrepancies in the data. This role offers an opportunity to work with tools such as MySQL, AWS, and Python for data extraction and identifying data quality issues. You will also collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders daily to resolve discrepancies.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Take initiatives to improve data quality across multiple financial market data APIs.

- Proactively identify data quality and coverage issues, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve them.

- Assist in identifying and resolving data quality issues across various datasets.

- Liaise regularly with senior team members, such as Data Quality Analysts, Senior Data Quality

- Analysts, and Team Leads, to address emerging issues.





- Investigate discrepancies in data using diagnostic tools and provide appropriate solutions. Correct erroneous data (such as reference, pricing, corporate actions, etc.) using corrective APIsand tools, following best practices.

- Analyze data quality issues in various areas within capital market data.

Required Skills

- Fresh graduates with a strong passion for investment banking and finance domain are encouraged to apply.

- Basic understanding of financial instruments, markets, and corporate finance concepts.

- Quick learner with the ability to grasp new tools, processes, and concepts efficiently.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining data accuracy and integrity.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; exposure to financial modeling or databases is a plus.

- Valuable communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Finance

- MBA or a relevant master's degree in Finance preferred.
