Position Summary

Proficient Airport Manager with strong command of English and the ability to work multiple shifts. Adept at training and leading airport booking counter staff, communicating effectively with airport teams and security, and addressing customer needs.

What you will contribute to:

Operational Management: Supervise and manage airport booking counters, ensuring smooth operations across multiple shifts.

Staff Training and Leadership: Train, lead, and command airport booking staff, fostering a high-performance team.

Communication and Coordination: Liaise with airport teams and security staff to obtain necessary permissions and ensure operational efficiency.

Customer Service: Address and support customer needs at the airport, assisting with bookings and resolving issues.

Driver Interaction: Engage with drivers as needed to facilitate transport services and coordinate logistics.

Geographical Knowledge: Utilize understanding of Mumbai geography, with a preference for proficiency in

Marathi, to enhance local interactions.

Reporting: Prepare and manage daily working reports using Excel to track performance and operational metrics.

Facility Maintenance: Oversee facility maintenance and ensure cleanliness of counters and other airport areas.

Business Development: Adopt an aggressive approach to convert customer inquiries into business opportunities, particularly for transport services.

Audits and Compliance: Conduct surprise audits and checks on booking operations and facility management to maintain high standards.

Strategic

Transforming transportation sourcing activities into a technologically driven process with systematic cost derivations.

Vigilantly monitoring market intelligence and competitors initiatives to identify innovative operational and sourcing strategies.





Cultivating partnerships across India to bolster the business's strategic direction, conducting client management activities to foster sustained growth.

Functional

To ensure optimum utilization of available resources, planning and development of infrastructure and resources including human resources, training, new technology deployment and data management for smooth functioning of Client Operations to achieve customer satisfaction through service quality.

Guide and motivate the operations team in their day-to-day function and operating procedures to achieve optimum performance, productivity & Service level.

People

Develop comprehensive DWM/KRA/KPI/SOP frameworks to enhance control over operational and human resource processes.

Engage in structured reviews with vendors/clients to cultivate relationships, share data/information, and devise corrective action plans, offering solutions aligned with evolving business requirements.

Drive ongoing skill and process development within the transportation team through targeted training and development initiatives for both team members and partners, leveraging IT implementations.

Provide mentoring and coaching to foster team spirit, integrity, and motivation among team members,

offering candid feedback for continuous improvement.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Financial: Drive cost savings in procurement, establish partnerships with real estate agencies, and implement strategies for overall cost reduction.

Customer: Prioritize Customer Centricity, offer proactive solutions by understanding both stated and unstated needs, and achieve targeted CSAT scores in both procurement and real estate.

Processes: Establish SOPs and policies, evaluate Annual Rate Contracting (ARC) for procurement and real estate, and lead the digitization of warehouse procurement processes.

Learnings: Promote engagement with employees, business partners, and the community to foster continuous learning and growth.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree required

Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; Marathi preferred.

Operational Flexibility: Capable of working multiple shifts.

Leadership and Training: Experienced in training and managing airport booking teams.

Communication and Coordination: Strong skills in liaising with teams, security, and drivers.

Customer Service Orientation:



Focused on addressing passenger needs and assisting with bookings.

Geographical Knowledge: Understanding of Mumbai geography.

Reporting and Documentation: Proficient in Excel for daily reports.

Facility Management: Skilled in maintaining cleanliness and facility upkeep.
