Job Title Associate Accountant Department Finance Reports To Finance Manager Location Khaleez Restaurant Tirur As a Restaurant Accountant you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the restaurant ensuring accurate accounting timely reporting and compliance with statutory and internal financial regulations Key Responsibilities Accounting and Bookkeeping Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally Prime Record daily sales purchases expenses and payments Reconcile cash bank and card transactions daily Ensure accurate maintenance of ledgers and journal entries Taxation and Compliance Handle all statutory compliances including GST TDS andIncome Tax Prepare and file monthly quarterly and annual GST returns Manage TDS deductions challans and returns filing Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits Financial Reporting Prepare monthly Profit Loss statements Balance Sheets and Cash Flow reports Analyze financial performance and provide variance reports against budgets Generate periodic MIS reports for management review Budgeting and Cost Control Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities Support management in pricing purchasing and expense optimization Cash and Bank Management Manage daily cash flow and ensure sufficient working capital Verify and deposit collections into bank accounts Reconcile bank statements and maintain relationships with financial institutions Qualifications Bachelor s degree in commerce Accounting or Finance 1-3 years of accounting experience preferably in the restaurant or hospitality sector Technical Skills Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel Advanced Knowledge of GST TDS and Income Tax filing Familiarity with basic financial analysis and reporting Behavioural Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in data management Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information Effective communication and coordination with internal teams and external partners Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced restaurant environment If you are a motivated and experienced accounting professional looking to take your career to the next level please submit your application including your resume Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 12 000 00 - 17 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Work Location In person
