Assistant Team Leader

Educational Qualification:

- Graduate in Civil Engineering

- Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)

Experience:

- Minimum

10 years of professional experience in construction supervision and/or Quality Control

- Proven experience in urban infrastructure projects

, including one or more of the following:

- Water Supply Systems

- Sewerage Systems

- Storm Water Drainage

- Roads

- Bridges

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Assist the Team Leader in overall planning, coordination, and supervision of project activities

- Oversee construction supervision and ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and contract conditions

- Monitor quality control procedures and ensure adherence to relevant standards and codes

- Review contractor’s work programs, method statements, and quality assurance plans

- Supervise site activities related to water supply, sewerage, drainage, roads, and bridge works

- Coordinate with contractors,



consultants, and client representatives to resolve technical and site-related issues

- Ensure timely progress of works and assist in identifying and mitigating project risks

- Review and certify measurements, interim payment certificates, and work completion reports

- Support the Team Leader in preparation of progress reports, technical documentation, and presentations

- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory requirements at site

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of construction supervision and quality assurance practices

- Familiarity with urban infrastructure standards and specifications

- Valuable leadership, coordination, and communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple work fronts and resolve technical issues efficiently
