Role Description The Assistant Retail Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru, responsible for supporting daily operations across the retail showroom and related customer touchpoints. This role includes supervising store staff, coordinating schedules, and ensuring that customer interactions align with IDC’s design-focused brand experience.

The Assistant Retail

Manager will assist in driving sales, maintaining visual merchandising standards, managing inventory accuracy,



and supporting promotional activities. The position also involves resolving customer queries, tracking customer satisfaction, and providing feedback to management on store performance, product trends, and service improvements. The role requires close collaboration with sales, design, and operations teams to deliver a seamless and professional retail experience.

Qualifications

Strong Communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and cross-functional stakeholders clearly and professionally.

Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to manage inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive in-store experience.

Team Management experience to support staff supervision, task delegation, and performance monitoring within the retail environment.

Sales skills to assist in meeting store targets, upselling and cross-selling products, and supporting promotional campaigns.

Experience in retail, furniture, interiors, or lifestyle brands is preferred.

Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru with a hands-on approach to store operations.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and basic proficiency in POS and MS Office tools.

Diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
